Meet the Staff and Committee

Chris Walker-  Business Manager

I have two grown up children and three grandchildren, who keep me very busy. I love looking after them, but also enjoy walking, gardening, eating out and going on outings with friends.

I have been involved with the pre-school since 1980 when it was based at Christ Church on Chapel Street and was known as Halton Playgroup.  I became a manager in 1987 when we used a porta cabin in the playground of Whitkirk Primary School. It was at that time we decided to change the name to Templegate Tiny Tots Pre-school. It was wonderful to move to our present classroom after using a chemical toilet in the porta cabin and also being warm in the winter!

I still enjoy being involved with the children and have no plans to retire as yet.

Karen Blanthorn - Deputy

I am married with one son. I have worked here for over 15 years and feel very lucky to have a job that I really enjoy. I like eating out, walking, reading and have recently discovered the joys of camping and boating.

Sarah Nevison - Pre-School Staff/ Senco / Safeguarding

I am married and a mum to two boys. I enjoy looking after children and getting involved in their games. I have worked here after completing my training whilst my youngest attended Tiny Tots. I enjoy baking, taking my dog for long walks, and reading.

Karen Pacevitch - Pre-School Staff

I am a married mum of two girls and I also have grown up step children and grandchildren, so our house can be very busy.
In my spare time I like to read, dine out and spend quality time as a family.
I love working at Tiny Tots. My job is very interesting, really rewarding and there is never a dull day.

Rachel Riley - Pre-School Staff

I am married and mum to two children who both attend Whitkirk Primary School. I like walking, dining out and going out with friends. I have many years of experience of working with young children in different settings. 

Jacquie Stanworth - Pre-School Staff

I am married and have  4 sons and I have worked at Tiny Tots over 20 years. I discovered how much I enjoyed working with children of this age after volunteering at my sons nursery at RAF Coltishall and then began working there. I originally studied at Art college here in Leeds and worked as a graphic designer before travelling with my husband when he joined the RAF. I still enjoy designing and making things, so in my spare time, (if I ever have any!) I am busy on one of these projects or trying to tame the jungle which is my very large garden.
