The children have really enjoyed our topic, Space-with a special visit from the Querks. Each of the children has had an opportunity to take one home and look after them but on Wednesday it was time to say goodbye. The children had made a fantastic rocket out of recycled boxes.

The children then counted 5 Querks, 5 eggs and 5 Space helmets and helped them get ready to go home. The children then helped us carry the rocket with our Alien friends in and decided to place it on the highest point, on top of the shed. Blast off! The Querks sent us a message to let us know that they had arrived home safely. We will miss the Querks and look forward to them visiting again soon.
