RSPB Bird watch
This week the children have been learning all about birds alongside the RSPB Bird Watch. The children have been making bird feeders, using bird food and natural resources such pine cones. The have been spotting the nests in the trees and making a nest using willow, twigs, grass and moss. Making the nests was quite tricky which makes it even more impressive to do it with a beak! The children also used the tally charts to spot our local birds. We spotted a couple of crows and black birds but it was very quiet this week. We’ll have to keep an eye on our bird feeders!
