The children have enjoyed watching our caterpillars change into butterflies. They have patiently watched them grow bigger and bigger, making their cocoons and finally emerging as butterflies. After a few days of observing the butterflies, we went to forest school to let them go. The children got to hold the butterflies, very gently, before they set off in the air.
